POINTS FORMAT

Points are accumulated over each of the twenty races. The first fourteen races are deemed the "Regular Season". When in the Regular Season, drivers are awarded points based on their finishing position, winning the pole, and multiple in-race bonuses such as leading the most laps, leading a lap, or setting the fastest lap. Here is how points are distributed throughout the field every week.

Next up, we have the Postseason format. ASCA follows a similar format to the modern-day NASCAR Cup Series but does things a little differently. The Top 10 Drivers who have accumulated the most points by the end of the regular season (Race 14 at Darlington) will clinch a spot in the postseason.

Once the postseason begins, there will be 2 rounds of the playoffs. Each round will consist of 3 races. For the first round of the playoffs, all drivers will begin at 2000 points, with their bonus points from race wins as well as their seeding points.

After the conclusion of the 3rd race of the playoffs, the field will be cut from 10 drivers to 4. When the second round starts, all drivers will be reset to 4000 points. For this round, the driver with the most points at the conclusion of the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway will be crowned the Champion.
