NUMBER 6 FOR THURSTON
ASCA headed to Martinsville Speedway for the 4th race of the playoffs, and to some surprise, things went much smoother than expected. But something that was expected, was James Thurston competing for his sixth victory of the season and was able to hold off Connor Trifari on the final Green-White-Checkered restart to capture the victory in the Racing Haven 140, and propel himself to the Championship Lead.
AREVALO STEALS IT AT DEGA!
ASCA headed to Talladega Superspeedway for the third race of the playoffs. It was smooth sailing until a big chain reaction accident on lap five which immediately followed with nearly fifty laps of green flag racing. A late-race incident between lapped cars set up for a ten-lap shootout, leading to a last-lap crash that set up Aiden Arevalo and Ryan Bogie for a drag race, which let Arevalo grab his first career win by 0.024 in the LylisMFG 169!
